Top heifer, bull at Cattlemen's Classic from Texas, Nebraska

Kearney, Neb. - The Supreme Row heifer and bull were from Texas and Nebraska, respectively, at the 15th annual Nebraska Cattlemen's Classic.

Supreme Row grouped the champions from each of the 14 breeds of cattle competing at the Classic. Despite colder temperatures, the finale was well attended by cattle enthusiasts from across the Midwest.

Supreme Heifer honors went to David and Jody Foster, Foster Bros. Farms, Lockney, Texas. The Chiangus breed champion sold for $8,600 to Terry and Chad Tonniges of T-T Cattle Co. , Gresham, Neb.

The Supreme Bull title went to Nisley/Gana Shorthorn, Martell, Neb., and sold to Nate Kolterman of Seward, Neb. The Shorthorn breed champion brought $2,500.
